Laser technology with clear medical judgement

Laser and other light sources selectively treat scars, pigmentation, vascular lesions and signs of ageing, always respecting healthy tissue.

What is laser dermatology

Laser dermatology uses different wavelengths of light to act selectively on specific structures in the skin, without damaging the surrounding tissue.

Each laser has a specific indication: some technologies are designed for vascular lesions, others for pigmentation or scars, and others to stimulate collagen and improve skin texture.

That’s why the first step is always an accurate diagnosis to determine which technology is right for your skin and your goal.

Our approach

We choose the exact technology for each indication, never the other way round

We don’t start from a single device: we assess your skin and the issue to be treated, and from there decide which laser technology offers the best result with the greatest safety.

Laser treatments usually require several sessions and a gradual progression. From the outset we explain how many sessions are reasonable, what result you can expect and what care your skin needs between sessions.

What we do

Treatments and technology

01
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
Light that evens out redness, pigmentation and sun damage.
A broad-spectrum light source that, using specific filters, treats various skin conditions: rosacea and facial redness, inflammatory acne in selected cases, photoageing, superficial vascular lesions and certain benign sun spots.
02
Laser for scars
Visible improvement of acne and surgical scars.
Different types of laser improve the appearance of acne scars, surgical scars and other selected scars, with protocols personalised for each skin type and each type of scar.
03
Treatment of vascular lesions
Removes spider veins and small lesions with laser.
Certain lasers treat benign vascular lesions such as venous lakes, cherry angiomas or small telangiectasias, using the most suitable technology for each lesion.
04
Warts and other benign lesions treated with laser
An effective option when other treatments have already been tried.
In selected cases, laser is a good alternative for benign lesions such as warts, especially when other conventional options have already been tried.
05
Laser skin rejuvenation
More texture, radiance and overall skin quality.
Improves texture, skin quality, fine lines and other signs of photoageing by stimulating collagen remodelling and skin renewal.
06
Laser treatment for stretch marks
Gradual improvement in texture and colour, especially for reddish stretch marks.
Stretch marks are dermal scars that appear when collagen and elastin fibres break down during growth, pregnancy or significant weight changes. Depending on the type of stretch mark and how it has evolved, certain fractional lasers stimulate collagen remodelling and progressively improve their texture and appearance.

How we work

What the process looks like

01
We assess your skin.
The first consultation starts by listening to what’s concerning you, examining your skin and determining which laser technology is best suited to your case.
02
We design your plan.
We explain the technology chosen, the approximate number of sessions, the expected results and the care needed before and after each session.
03
We move forward gradually.
Laser results tend to be gradual: we follow up session by session and adjust the protocol according to how your skin responds.

What our patients say

Results you can see, session by session

I’m so happy with the result of the laser treatment I had with Dr. Anna. I was a little nervous because you never know how your skin will react, but she explained everything from the start and I felt completely at ease. My skin came out so much brighter, more even and beautiful, and the result looks very natural. Anna is also lovely and incredibly thorough. I’ll definitely be coming back to her.— Triana —
Thanks to Dr. Sánchez Puigdollers my skin now looks amazing! I was on medication for acne and she recommended a specific laser treatment for the marks it left behind… I was blown away by the results! She’s a wonderful professional, and whenever anyone asks me for a good dermatologist, she’s who I recommend.— Lara —
I’m absolutely delighted with the laser treatment Dr. Anna Sánchez Puigdollers gave me for the scar left after surgery for a basal cell carcinoma on my face. I was really worried about how the scar would look, but from the very first moment she gave me so much confidence and reassurance about the treatment. The result has been incredible: in just 3 sessions the improvement was dramatic, and after 6 months the scar is barely visible at all! Beyond the excellent result, I want to highlight how warm she is as a doctor: caring, attentive, approachable and extremely effective. I recommend her 100%.— Laura —

Answering your questions

Frequently asked questions

How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the technology and the condition being treated. At the first consultation we’ll give you a realistic estimate of the number of sessions.
Does laser treatment hurt?
Most treatments are well tolerated; for the more sensitive procedures we use measures to minimise discomfort. We’ll explain this in detail before starting.
Do I need special aftercare following a session?
Yes, it varies depending on the technology used. We always give you specific instructions on sun protection and skin care after each session.
Are the results permanent?
It depends on the reason for the treatment. Some indications offer long-lasting results, while others require maintenance sessions, which we’ll explain at your initial assessment.
Can I combine different types of laser?
Yes, in many cases combining technologies allows different aspects of the same condition to be addressed. We always start from an individual medical assessment.
